In principle, according to the National Insurance Law in Israel, you are entitled to a child allowance for the first three months of your stay abroad with your family. However, if you are staying in a convention country country with which Israel has signed a social security convention, you may be eligible for a child allowance from the Social Security Institute of the country of your stay, subject to the provisions of each convention.
Please note: It is impossible to receive a child allowance both in Israel and in the convention country for the same period.
